Description: Old MIDWEST GLADIOLUS Flower SHOW STERLING Silver MEDAL & Ribbon in BOX DESCRIPTION : This listing is for a very neat old award medal and ribbon or souvenir of the Midwest Gladiolus Show. This large old medal is made of sterling silver and was made by Herff Jones and comes in its original box. The medal itself is about 2.125 inches tall with the red white and blue ribbon it is about 3.625 inches tall. This medal and ribbon is in great condition and probably was never taken out of the box. The cardboard box it in not in as nice as condition with sides and corners torn out and has some scuffs and scratches. Not sure of the age but will guess and say 1920s. You decide for sure it is OLD and ORIGINAL for sure. A neat old item for sure. I have never seen one before. Possibly handed out at state or county fairs ?? The medal shows Illinois Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan and parts of Minnesota Iowa and Pennsylvania.
