It is a car which can be used as a single floor car for cattle or horses, or a second floor can be put inside which is for smaller animals such as sheep and goats. This is a well traveled car as I purchased it in the early 1960's at Schlickers Tobacco and Hobby Shop in Downtown Elgin Illinois. It gome from Illinois, to Michigan, to Key West, Fl, to Puerto Rico, to Orlando, to Dallas TX, and back to Orlando and now I am selling it. How's that for a memory. hahahha I just never got around to building it, and I am now 76, so it goes into the wife doesn't want to deal with it if I play frog and croak. The kit is a wooden model of a Convertable Stock car and has prepainted (factory paint) letter boards for NKP (Nickle Plate Road) The model paint that matches is Box car red so says a note inside the kit. The construction materials include: Sub floor and scribed wooden deck, roof, underbody center sill, truck bolsters, precut for spacing side slat walls. end blocks, roof walk, T-Bracing, channel bracing, and other strip wood. In addition there is wire for under body details. The instructions have templates to build the walls over for perfect spacing. There is a unsealed packet which has truck mounting screws brass ladder stock, brake cylinder, manual valve and triple valve, Short pins, hand grabs, and foot strups . These Ambroid kits are great and teach you so much about kit building. I have built the entire Ambroid line of cars starting with the general issues cars, the 1 of 5000 cars series 1 and 2, plus the Heritage line of which this is part of. All teach you how to make pretty easy to build but unusual and outstanding cars. I would recommend that you use white glue rather than Ambroid glue though. If you make a mistake you can just take some rubbing alochol and soak the joint to loose it back up without destroying the glued surfaces..
