Manufactured by Safe Padlock and Hardware Co. in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, circa 1950’s-1960’s, this high-quality vintage this Polished Brass Transom Chain measures approximately 12" long with the plates measuring about 1 3/4” by 1 ¼”. This is a high-quality, heavy duty, vintage transom chain for windows or limiting the opening of small doors, boxes, fold down desks, etc. Part No. 3442, made in USA.
