Description: A Type 1 Millers falls Smoothing Plane, No 9 ( same size as a typical No 4, with a 2" cutter). This is the first type Millers Falls made with the name cast into the base around the toe, and the model number cast behind the frog (later ones show the model stamped on the side). It has been disassembled, cleaned and oiled. Cutter has some use but plenty left to give. The rear handle had a clean break which I have repaired, and I have given both handles a few coats of shellac to refresh them. I'm happy to combine postage costs where I can. Thank you for looking.
