This was the peak of Mido in my opinion. I do not think the Captain V looks better and that one has lower movement specs (jewels/beats per min) and no exhibition case back. I bought this watch off of here, it was sold as New Old Stock / NOS, from a liquidating/ed watch store. It came new with tags and protective plastic wraps everywhere. Since I’ve owned it, I’ve worn it exactly 3 times. I am thinning down my collection so this is going up for sale. This is a GREAT entry point into Swiss watches and it is apart of SWATCH Group. Sporting a sapphire crystal glass, a 25 jewel movement, 28800 vibrations per second, a very clean and fluid second hand sweep. It boasts blue lume on the hour, minute, second hand as well as at the top of the uni directional diving bezel and every hour is marked (see photo). There is a beautiful exhibition case back that lets you see the internal movement. Everything is titanium and is light weight, you’ll forget that you’re wearing it. It has a screw down crown and sports 20bar/atmosphere ~200 meters of diving depth. The crown has 3 positions, 1st pull is winding the internal spring, 2nd pull is adjusting the date (0-31) and the day of the week (Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun) display, the 3rd pull adjusts the minute and hour hands. There is a secondary language for the day of the week, which you can pick between the two languages, one is English the other I forgot.
