All photos are of actual watch in auction. MOVEMENT: Clean stunning rose gilt 17 jewel A. Schild Mido model 817 bumper automatic movement is signed: "Mido Limited, seventeen 17 jewels, AOC, 817, 8479, made in Switzerland." Movement is clean and runs well, however has not been bench tested for precise accuracy or recently serviced. CASE: Clean, round all stainless steel screwback, waterproof type case measures 29.32 mm in diameter without recessed crown, 35.73 mm lug tip to tip, and 16 mm between lugs. Case back interior is signed: " Brit pat 385509, 899363, Mido Limited, Switzerland, rustless steel." Bezel is signed: "9363." Back is signed: " Mido Multifort, Automatic, Switzerland, waterproof, impermeable, anti-choc, anti-magnetic, rustless steel, 220." Back shows light wear as seen in photos. Crystal is pristine. DIAL: Absolutely stunning very rare two tone black and copper doctor's dial features luminescent Arabic numbers at 12, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 o'clock, lumed dots at remaining hours, radium hour and minute hands, stunning delicate doctor's dial sweep second hand, copper interior calibrated minute/seconds register. Dial is signed: "Mido, Multifort, (in copper) Extra (in gold) made in Switzerland (in copper) ". Absolutely Incredible rare dial!
