Michael Jackson Thriller Japan 25-3P-399 OBI 1st Edition Play Test EX EX+ No MJ

Description: This is a true first edition with no MJ production credits and the black star OBI. Vinyl was play tested through Focal Elegia's and it played as EX on the B-side and EX+ on the A-side with the most significant issue being a tiny bit of surface noise between tracks, more noticeable on the A-side along with a bit more on B5 which played more like an 87. Visually it is in line with the play showing only faint marks. Finally, let me recommend that you play the B-side first (even if you're just looking, try it on your own) so that the album closes with Thriller. It's perfect and you'll love it. The sleeve is scored as VG+, numerically an 82. Straight on with the OBI in place it almost looks perfect however on angles there are some issues most noticeably the bottom left corner showing a moderate bump that went through to the inserts. Beyond that the other corners show light wear. There are also some small discoloration spots with one more noticeable on the bottom left rear. Overall, it's probably EX- anyway.
