Maen Hudson Mk4 38mm

Description: Maen Hudson Mk4. I have way too many dive watches so this lovely Maen has rarely been worn (it’s in virtually as-new condition), thus the decision to move it on to a more attentive custodian. The Mk4 Hudson has a compact 38mm case and 46mm lug-to-lug, making it super-wearable for a slightly smaller wrist size. With this version of the Mk4, the black rehaut serves to accentuate the size of the dial, which has a lovely sand-blasted finish and raised markers. The watch has 300m water resistance, sapphire glass with AR coating, a ceramic bezel and screw-down crown. The finishing is superb and described in the (YouTube) WR4K review as 10/10, ‘very close to Tudor BB levels’. I wasn’t keen on the stock rubber dive strap, so replaced it with a Strap Tailor Ranger-style single-pass Nato (see photos), which is included in the sale. This is the quartz version of the Hudson with the bullet-proof Swiss-made Ronda calibre 515 movement, which is rated at -10/+20 seconds per month (better than +/- 1 second per day) with a 4-year battery life. Box and papers are all present – with the leather Travel Case being really excellent.
