Given that season 1 & 2 are currently OOP and there is no box set currently released, tracking down the complete series together brand new can be difficult. This also includes Short Films by Louis C.K. Short Films is an infamous collection of early films created by Louis. In my opinion, the films are the spiritual predecessor to the TV show, which makes them a great companion piece for the complete series. Please note that this title was recently reissued independently by Louie, but it comes with full cover art and pressed discs. Season 1 is a double-sided disc where one side is DVD and the other side is Blu-ray. Season 2-5 are strictly DVD with no Blu-ray. These are authentic and brand new. Please note that seasons 3, 4, and 5 are officially licensed made-on-demand (MOD) versions courtesy of Allied Vaughn. Unfortunately, this fantastic series did not get a full scale retail release. Studios use MOD services like Allied Vaughn to make TV shows available that otherwise would be too obscure for a full scale retail release. MOD versions of DVDs can sometimes vary compared to the retail counterparts and may be pressed on DVD-R discs, but they will still have full cover art, and menus. We purchase any brand new MOD titles we sell directly through an authorized distributor. Season 1 & 2 are now completely OOP, but we have uncovered two brand new retail copies to complete this series for you.
