Description: Lot of 20 Dell SAS hard drives, for parts or repair. I was unable to get these to work. When plugged in, they spin up, but never become ready. No SMART data beyond the basic identification (drive simply reports not ready.) I've tried taping the 3.3V pins and various commands from sg3utils to no avail. Seagate Seatools also doesn't seem to detect the drives, so I'm just going to give up and move on. The drives are in decent physical shape, but have some scratches. Two of the drives (that I've noticed) have some superficial PCB scratches, but behave exactly like the other drives. They all appear to spin up and make appropriate noises when plugged in.
