Description: Vintage Original Lionel 1656 0-4-0 steam engine parts 1948-49. Complete motor assembly with e unit. Runs well, has good wheels and gears. May need cleaning and lubrication. e unit intermittently will stick, and that would be that it needs a cleaning and lube. Worked fine here but may need trouble shooting after the bouncing of shipping. these are 70-80 year old parts and you need to be able to trouble shoot minor problems like reverse unit or a slipped wire. tested fine here but they are fussy and do not purchase old items like this if you are not handy with them. Part of a recent local estate purchase. sold as found and as pictured
