Description: Maker: On the reverse of this lovely cabinet plate is a green circle "VF Limoges France" back stamp. According to Distinctive Limoges Porcelain by Keith and Thomas Waterbrook-Clyde, it may be the mark of Vultry Frères, which produced fine quality porcelain in Limoges in the early 1890s. But that is not confirmed so the plate's maker remains unknown. Design: Beautiful and finely painted purple violets are featured against a background of pure white porcelain surrounded by a mottled gold trim. Size: The plate is 8 1/2 inches wide and weighs 12.1 ounces. Condition: It's in excellent condition with no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, stains, repairs, discoloration, crazing or wear. Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
