Gold Leaf's Aqua Size is a clear water-based gilding adhesive (size) formulated for all interior leaf and vertical exterior work where extended tack time is required. In comparison to oil type sizes that stain, L.A. Gold Leaf Aqua Size does not contain any oils. Therefore, it is an excellent gilding adhesive that will not stain papers or other absorbent materials. In addition, the L.A. Gold Leaf Aqua Size is emission safe with no fire hazard and minimal toxicity. DirectionsSurface must be clean, dry, and properly prepared before application of Aqua Size. Product should be protected from freezing and only used at room temperature. Apply Aqua Size by brush or spray at packaged consistency. Proper tack will develop in 25 minutes at normal humidity and hold this tack for 24 to 26 hours. *Note: Tack time is subjective to the user’s preferences and depends upon ambient temperature and humidity. Useful Information💧 Do not shake the bottle because you will get bubbles. Only stir inside the container.💧 It may be used as an adhesive for other decorative mediums like glass, glass beads, glitters, and pearlescent micas. 💧 It can also be used for a two-part conversion protective coating to prevent "lifting" that may occur when an oil or solvent-based size is included. Any vertical surface that does not have water accumulation is viable to use. Use Caution!💧 KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN! To avoid breathing vapors or spray mist, open windows and doors or use other means to ensure fresh air entry during application and drying.
