Description: This dime store puzzle was mine in the 1960s. Produced by Chemical Sundries Co., it has a copyright date of 1962. It measures 9¼” long x 5¼” wide x 7/8” high. The plastic shell over the game shows significant wear: It clearly has been under a heavy object at some point, so the plastic is bent all along the right side. Looking straight on to the puzzle, however, the damage is far less obvious, and the plastic remains firmly attached to the cardboard backing, so all the beans are intact. The plastic beans still “jump” freely (because of a little weight inside each one). The cardboard is curled along the top, but that should be easy to remedy with a good, heavy book or other weight. The sides also “ripple” a bit along the plastic shell. Otherwise, the cardboard shows light wear, as would be expected for a 60-year-old toy, but it’s surprisingly clean. I’m selling other vintage dexterity puzzles and would be happy to combine shipping. Just be sure to select “Request total from seller” in the shopping cart.
