I wanted to create a great jig that would consistently produce in clear water environments, and I wanted to create a bait that would still attract quality bites. Fast forward some 18 months, I think we hit a Grand Slam with this outstanding finesse jig. Every great jig starts with a great hook, and ours is no different. Our 1/4 OZ ball head jigs are built on a black nickel, medium wire ultra-point hook, very sharp. Once the heads are poured, we dip each head in two coats of Pro Tec paint, then we cure them at 325 degrees for 25 minutes, and seal the entire head in Diamond clear sealer. This process takes two days, but the end result is a beautiful, rock hard jig. At this point, we add one of our custom signature series skirts and a color matched twin tail scented trailer. The overall bait is about 3.5" in length, and mimics the size of both crawfish and small baitfish. We offer this outstanding finesse jig in five custom colors. 100% satisfaction guarantee. I prefer to fish this bait on a 6'9" medium light action spinning rod spooled with 5 pound Gamma Fluorocarbon.
