ICHI the Killer 1 KOROSHIYA ICHI figure Manga Version - RARE lot

Description: In this rare figure lot are TWO koroshiya Ichi/Ichi the killer 1/6 scale figures. Both are complete in box with original papers, instructions, and of course all parts. The figures are: Koroshiya Ichi (manga version) Very very rare, and an amazing figure. The details are great, from the face sculpt and armor design to the blades shoes. The figure comes with two head sculpts, one in a resting expressionless face, one with ichis iconic crying/yelling face when he kills. There’s 3 shoes in total, two that are his basic combat assassin shoes, and one with exposed blade. There are two sets of gloves, one with open hands, and one with closed fists. Multiple bare hands are included, I believe 3 sets. The gloved hands are interesting, as they are somewhat rigid hollow gloves, that just cup around the figures wrists. The one flaw of this figure that has been documented by other toy collectors online who have this figure is that the rubberized assassin jumpsuit Ichi comes with is flaking and peeling and leaving quite a mess. This happened with all copies of this figure as the material is over 10 years old and wasn’t a well manufactured item. I’ve seen others replace it with (scuba diving jumpsuits and similar) but it’s your preference to do so or not. The armor is glued to the jumpsuit with adhesive and can be removed without damaging the armor to my knowledge. This wasn’t an issue for me, and you can’t find this figure without this flaw. Thankfully it doesn’t effect the more important accessories and details of the figure or armor. The other figure is the killer Kakihara, Takeshi miike film adaptation variant. Amazing detail in the headsculpt of actor tadanobu asano, with scars and piercings. The suit has a great shiny material, and the hands are intelligently sculpted in his “needle spike” torture weapon holding position. This figure comes with a stand, but no extra headsculpts, hands, or accessories. These have been some of my favorite figures and characters in my collection and it’s hard to let them go, but they haven’t been on display and I’d feel good knowing another collector would display them. :( I bought them both in Tokyo 8 years ago in different shops, I believe mandarake. Thanks for looking. I will protect the boxes with extra cardboard in the shipping box to protect the figure boxes as both are amazing to display.
