Description: Malachite glass vase, 5” tall. Malachite glass has been produced by many companies since its invention by Hoffman in the late 1800's, some companies used original old molds some used re-created molds. This piece was produced sometime in the early 1990's, the detail of the faces of the girls is not as good as some original old examples where you can actually see eye lids but it is better than many that I've seen listed. The variation of color shading and distribution makes each piece of malachite glass unique. The pattern of color shading on the bottom is like a fingerprint.
