NEWTON & HENRY ZUFELT - WISCONSIN FUR TRADE TRAP MAKERS By Ray Clark Sobieski Wisconsin 2023 Privately printed. 74 pages. Size: 11" x 8". All pages of heavy stock, glossy finish and in color, with clear cover sheets front and back. Many illustrations. Book documents life of Abel D. Newton and smaller amount on Henry Zufelt. Both made beaver traps during the fur trade era, with Newton also making what many now call trade axes. Abel D. Newton is significant in that of all the blacksmiths that worked during the fur trade era, more is known of him than of any other man. Many hours of research went into the making of this book. I also went to great lengths to obtain photos of as many traps and axes made by these men as I could. You can get a copy of this book for $35. (with free shipping) if you contact me directly. I need to charge more on ebay to cover the ebay fees. Condition of the book is brand new. Returns accepted with full refund if you are not satisfied. (You would need to pay return shipping.) Sorry, no sales to Canada or anywhere other than 50 U.S. states. HAPPY COLLECTING!
