This Early American Pattern Glass Green Opalescent "HONEYCOMB with CLOVER" master serving bowl is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of glass that is in very good condition for the age of this piece of glass, there are NO chips or cracks; The opalescent glass period preceeded the carnival glass period by approximately ten years, my info that I mention shows a water pitcher in this "HONEYCOMB with CLOVER" pattern, I must say that this pattern is very seldom seen in opalescent colors, I have seen this pattern I have here in blue opalescent, my info also says that the maker of this "HONEYCOMB with CLOVER" is uncertain, but my research also says the the Fenton Art Glass Company has made this pattern in carnival glass in numerous colors, mainly in ftd. compotes; Folks this is a very early piece of glass dating around "1907" according to Heacock, I may add that this GREEN OPALESCENT "HONEYCOMB with CLOVER" LOW ROUND MASTER SERVING BOWL is an early vintage antique green opalescent glass low round master serving bowl that has been used and displayed for many years and is still a very beautiful "HONEYCOMB with CLOVER" master bowl; This pattern can be seen and talked about in the "William Heacock's" , "Encyclopedia of Victorian Colored Pattern Glass Book II OPALESCENT GLASS from A to Z" on pages#21, & #34; Numerous (all) photo's were taken with flash and outside in natural daylight in different backgrounds in numerous angles and positions to show color, pattern, condition, the firey green opalescent color, & size hoping to answer any and all questions but if need be you can E-mail me or you can see me on my NEW web site at terrymackeyantiques.com.
