Description: The design on this shirt was created using a process called "Discharge Printing", sort of the opposite of "Screen Printing". With screen printing, layers of inks and colors are added to create the final image. With discharge printing, special ink is used which REMOVES the color from the fabric of the shirt, leaving a striking, almost sepia-toned image which is soft, permanent and as much a part of the shirt as the fabric itself. It's sort of like that time that you were careless and splashed some bleach on your favorite dark shirt, leaving those weird permanent light-colored blotches, but this process is much more controlled...and intentional! The result is this very cool and highly detailed image. Oh, and PLEASE, show some respect to these magnificent raptors. The bird on this shirt is called a Great Horned Owl, not a great horny owl. That would be a completely different bird! These shirts feature a small name-drop/sleeve-print from a natural history museum in Kansas (size M, L, XL and 2XL) or Florida (size XL or 2XL).
