GIBSON USA LES PAUL GOLD TOP 60’s TRIBUTE 2018 W CASE

Description: This is my 2018 Les Paul Tribute. It’s a gold top, with a mahogany body AND neck- this one didn’t have the maple neck dyed to match that some models of other eras had. Has 490T and 490R pickups. It had a 498T- but it was replaced with the correct, factory-mounted pickup that it needed, because it was just too dark. It’s a good sounding set. This thing can play any style. Kind of the definition of LP, anyway. It has plenty of authentic wear and tear, but everything works. Please look closely at every picture. There are indeed dings, scratches, and chips on the gold top as well as the mahogany back and sides of this instrument- but NOT the neck. Nothing that is going to hang up on you or your clothes while you play or effect playing in any way. Please see the pics. The neck is a great LP specimen. I love the look and feel of this particular mahogany neck. The third fret is partially scalloped on just the E-A strings. This doesn’t have an impact on my playing. I tried to show a closeup in the pics. I don’t understand why the previous owner did this- but I played it for a year before I noticed. Everything else about this guitar is through-and-through classic Gibson USA Les Paul. It’s pro-intonated and setup with a set of Ernie Ball Turbo strings. (9.5) It will be shipped double-boxed in its case with packing all around. This has to ship with delivery confirmation. I like to use USPS.
