ORIGINAL COLLECTION newly added to the lineup from 2020. This is the small body L-00 ORIGINAL, which symbolizes the early days of Gibson acoustic guitars. Gibson, which began developing and producing flat-top acoustic guitars in the late 1920s, released the L-00 around 1931. Described in the 1934 Gibson catalog as having the "best balanced sound," the L-00 is characterized by its small size, lightness, and warm, crunchy sound. Made in USA, Montana factory, brand new, regular imported product. The style has a classic texture, and the ebony color and rectangular bridge give it a cool feel. The body is entirely made of veneer, with a Sitka spruce top, mahogany SIDE/BACK, and antique binding on both the top and back. The slim taper mahogany NECK is different from vintage specs, but it has a round shape that is thin and easy to grip. The pegs use GOLDEN AGE nickel tuners reminiscent of the 1930s, and the head logo is designed with a classic script Gibson logo. The pickup is equipped with L.R.BAGGS VTC, and VOLUME/TONE control is possible at the sound hole edge. It is especially recommended for folk, blues, and finger styles, but you can also enjoy the Gibson sound by strumming it with a pick.
