Description: This circa-1960 mono LP from Sutton Records (SU 286) is a compilation of earlier performances by Fletcher Henderson with Slam Stewart and the Jazz Tones. The record itself reproduces track noise from the original 78 rpm recordings in some cuts. It was played in its entirety on a Thorens SD-126 Mk III turntable and did not show any playback problems. The outer sleeve shows some separation of the front and back sides near its opening (right side of Photo 1) where the outer paper layer has come apart. The inner sleeve shows partial splits on either side. This is one of many titles from an extensive collection of LPs and CDs that we will be listing here. All have been carefully stored for many years, played only on premium equipment, and show little to no wear. NOTES:Album sleeves may have a small index sticker, usually in the upper right corner of the back, which was applied when the album was first purchased for this private collection. Please be sure you know the Shipping charge to your address before bidding.
