Description: Exceptionally rare Dutch synagogue wall sconce. Likely 18th century. Has sand dollar like pattern and eye-like punching design on upper section. This lamp is completely intact and consists of a smaller front lamp and larger back lamp. The smaller lamp has a slit that fits over a triangular portion of the back lamp. Has a hook to hand the lamps on the wall. Unmarked except for the number “2” stamped on the upper portions. Each lamp part has a lower pan with spout Constructed of pewter Good condition for age. Pewter is discolored. We have not cleaned this lamp.
