Description: This is an auction for a piece of UK D&D history TSR D&D Dungeons and Dragons RPG box 1978 1001 Basic DUNGEONS & DRAGONS BASIC SET Thanks to Acaeum. This boxed set contains the November 1978 rules book with a light blue cover with attached appendix. Staples showing rust as normal. Rulebook cover has pulled away from top staple. Also interesting mix of papers can be found some are cream whilst other are white - see pictures 18 and 19. This set also has the 1979 B1 - In Search of the unknown module first print. The map looks to have been annotated with room numbers to make it easier to use. Both booklets have their back sheet attachments still present and still attached to the booklets. The booklets don't look to have been used much. Best of Dragon leaflet present in nm condition.Rare Grenadier Painting competition leaflet present See pictures for condition as they form part of the description. The box is also in good condition for it’s age - some wear and bowing from being stored. No dice with this set but these can be picked up elsewhere on eBay.
