Description: Dellorto PHF PHM carburetor float valve assembly size 250 Ducati Guzzi 8649-250 Click images to enlarge Description Dellorto float valve assemblies are available in two styles to fit most models from the 1970's onwards: #9436 has a solid needle that attaches to the float, while #8649 has a spring loaded top of the float needle that appears to handle vibration better than the solid style. Both styles will fit PHB, PHF, PHM, and VHS series carburetors. The spring loaded ones seem to be preferred for the bigger carbs on bigger bikes, while the solid needles appear to be used on smaller dispacement bikes. Both needles have the viton rubber tips. You must select the correct size for the type of gas that you are using, as it burns differently than the gasoline of the 1970's (especially here in California!) Genuine Dellorto, Made In Italy.
