Description: SAGE SP 596 3pieces rod. Custom built by Japanese fly fishing store in the late 1990s.Supple, medium-fast action with Graphite 4.This series rods are my very favorite feeling. The grip is of a distinctive shape, and the guide is a single foot of black chrome. The grip and butt end hardware are a little used. The coating around the rod name area on the blank is a little uneven. There are surface scratches on the blank surface as shown in the last four pictures. There are no deep scratches.It comes with a SAGE blue rod sock and a Japanese Cordura rod tube.I have been fly fishing as a hobby for over 30 years. I have detailed my own inventory of gear that I and my fishing fellows no longer use and list it for sale. I am not a Japanese reseller with no inventory. Will ship from Japan by Fedex.
