Description: I am dating myself now, but I purchased this Slalom White Bear Water Ski when I was about 16 years old back in the late 60s, so it is easily 55 years old. Here's a short, but true story of the background; we moved to White Bear Lake Minnesota in 1958 when I was just 6 years old, and the house my parents purchased had a block garage that just happened to be where the White Bear Water Ski Company got its start! They were doing quite well in their little block garage, but the neighbors did not like the noise from all the saws and whatnot, so after a few years they had to move which is when our family purchased the property. They only moved a few miles away so by the time I was in my mid-teens I was ready to purchase my own ski as I had been skiing since I was about 7 years old. The ski is still in good condition since it hasn't been used in probably 40 years and is 64 inches long from tip to tail. These have now become collector items for water ski aficionados.
