Description: Here’s a civil war era folding pocket lantern. This is as found condition still pretty dusty. This was found in an attic. Not sure on history of it but there’s no denying its period. I did not try to fold it. I think if someone’s going to they should soak the hinges with oil. I’ll let the new owner decide as this is over 150 years old.
