Features a very detailed Saint Bernard with his little buddy Dachshund snuggled by his side with his head resting on the huge Saint Bernard paws. The bronze is mounted on a beautiful piece of brown marble with white striations. It's divine! Christine Baldwin is an American artist specializing in fine quality lost wax bronzes of dogs. This particular piece is a larger example relative to her other works measuring 9-1/4 inches long and 5 inches tall (not including the base). Weighs in at nearly 10 pounds and is signed "Baldwin 1981". SELLER NOTES: Very Good Vintage Condition - No notable defects in bronze. Marble base has a limited crack on the back side facing section that is noticeable if looking closely (see photo). We did not notice it until viewing under bright lights and confirming with a magnifying glass. Very nice overall for 43 year age. See photos and use zoom.
