Description: Callistemon violaceus Seeds This wonderful selection of Bottle Brush offers rosy-purple flowers from early winter through spring, and in mild climates may bloom year around. This Australian native grows to become a medium to large, multi-trunked, evergreen shrub or small tree, to 10', that is tough and adaptable. Requires full to half sun in well-drained soils, but will also accept clay soil, as long as the shrubs aren't allowed to stand in water. Once established, the shrubs will tolerate infrequent watering. The nectar-laden flowers attract hummingbirds and beneficial insects. One of the prettiest among Bottle Brushes! One packet contains 50 freshly harvested seeds. Detailed sowing instructions are included. Please note that the seeds of this variety are very fine and almost dust-like. Please note: The seeds of this variety are tiny, and are fresh and viable - success in their germination is up to you, and will be achieved by carefully following the instructions included with your seeds.
