Description: This is a nice signed copy of the 1944 Berea College Press publication. No dust jacket as published. Contains several signatures. On the front endpaper there is a pasted in poem with a notation above that says "H. H. Brock - Desk Copy No. 2 Jan 1945." On the front free endpaper there is a lengthy inscription signed Mrs. H. H. Brock. On the page opposite the title page is a photo of H. H. Brock with a signature underneath "H. H. Brock 'Grumpy.'" On the rear endpaper is another pasted in poem with a hand-written description initialed HHB. It's a little unclear who wrote and signed what but it appears to contain handwritten notes, signatures and initials of Mr. and Mrs. Brock. Boards, binding and text are in G+ to VG- condition showing light to moderate wear (boards are somewhat worn, pages are in VG condition) and no marks whatsoever other than various inscriptions described above.
