Or, visit us at GCCycles, especially if in Ohio.Ban-Ei Japanese Eyedropper Fountain Pen handmade by Japanese lathe-master Eisuke Sakai and Tsuchida Shuichi, who was in charge of final assembly. This pen features a Warranted 14K Gold Fine nib made by the legendary Japanese nib master Ginjiro Kabutogi, and is stamped with "5-0" along with one of his JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) registration numbers, 4622. Kabutogi is known as one of the greatest post war nib-masters and his nibs offer an amazingly unique writing experience. This Pen is in C, good condition. The urushi lacquer has faded slightly over time, becoming duller in appearance. The gold plated trim pieces show moderate wear. Minor scratches and scuffs can be seen on the barrel and cap. This pen has had the worn out, original cork shutoff valve seal replaced with o-rings.
