Description: STERLING SILVER COFFEE OBSIDIAN WIDE BAND RING ~ Size 8. The beauty of this ring is in its simplicity. Coffee obsidian is a dark brown volcanic glass with occasional black flecks or veins. The stone is a bezel-set oval cabochon, measuring 18mm x 13mm. The silver band appears to be a cigar band, but it is actually graduated for comfort from 5/8” at the top, narrowing to approx. 1/4” in the back. Extremely smooth inside, making it very comfortable to wear. Marked inside the band with MEXICO ATI 925. Pre-owned. The stone is in fine condition: shiny and free from scratches and cracks. Since silver is a relatively soft metal, there are microscopic scratches evident from light wear over many years. Given the artisanal nature of this piece, this can be seen as a plus.
