Description: AQUATEC MODEL 58-ELK-220 220 PSI EXTRACTOR PUMP Equivalent to 58-FLC-220Mytee C322D CAUTION: Many times a leaking pump is caused by a machine that has not had the proper maintenance, or has faulty parts. If your machine has a heater you may have / should have a check valve between the heater and the pump, as well as a Pressure Relief Valve, mostly for higher PSI pumps 220 and above. The check valve needs to be tested and replaced an average of at a least yearly or every 2 years depending on how much it’s used. A faulty check valve will cause hot water to go back into the pump and it will damage the pressure switch seal, which is a common type of leak. When you take out the check valve and put air through it in the direction of the arrow it should be sealed and no air go though, if you get air through it, it is a broken check valve. A pump will get damaged in just a few hours of use after you install the new pump. All the pumps are in tested condition proper working condition, anything that happens a short while after you install it and it is running correctly, we are not liable for and you would need to check your machine for the above parts and maintenance. Many times you only need to replace the pressure switch seal, and not have to replace the pump, so make sure you know how to properly maintain your machine.
