Description: Antique Wedgwood & Co. Blue Willow full-size Soup Tureen England late-1800's. Features strong cobalt blue transfer color, with unusual pagoda shape lid and recumbent lion finial handle. Good overall condition, no chips, cracks or damages. The only exception is an inconspicuous hairline to lid from the ladle notch (pic 7,8) however lid is so thickly potted and solid that it's mostly inconsequential. Bowl interior has some intermittent under-glaze spots from initial production (pic 9). Notably the tureen bowl and lid have no glaze crazing and remain fully usable as originally intended. Measures 13-1/2" wide over side handles, 9" deep, 9-3/4" tall with finial handle.
