Description: Antique Vintage 1920's National Biscuit Company (NABISCO) 10"x10" Display Cabinet Door The looks like a door that came off a metal or wood display box. Chrome metal frame with a glass hinged door. Chrome is in very nice condition. The door is 9-3/4" wide x 10-1/4" high with glass in good shape. The frame is 10-1/2" wide x 10-1/2" tall "A Product of the National Biscuit Company" is on the front of the door along with the NBC logo (later became NABISCO). The frame is embossed on the bottom "Property of National Biscuit Company Patent Applied For" I've seen images of these that are patented 1923. I assume with the embossing "Patent Applied For" this one predates that, possibly early 1920's. Great for repurposing as a cabinet or shadow box door or simply hanging as a wall display.
