It features a full compartmented tray with original doors, drop down tray with door, original picture and document pouch with key. Fully restored/refinished with original functioning hardware, dated to the 1870s. It has an expertly relined interior and high quality furniture grade exterior finish. The case is made from Pine and Birch with premium milled Ash slats. The richly burnished bindings are iron with cast iron corners dated to 1877.Great at the foot of the bed, or as a table top or chest on stand.
