Featuring straight sides, a soldered seam, and lift off lid with embossed ring decoration, top advertises KEITH'S EGGS ~ PACKED AT FORT WAYNE, IND. Dating to the 1930s, condition is good with minor denting, darkening to the tin, scuffs, scratches and spotting on the interior. I could not find any history on this packer or manufacturer, but eggs packed in industrial tins date to the 1930s era when they were at the height of their popularity. Think it is such a cool piece of Indiana history - hope someone will feel the same - nice addition to any country home, primitive collection or advertising display!
