Description: For auction is an antique Royal typewriter. By checking the serial numbers, I believe it was made in 1928 or 1929. It is in good cosmetic condition and would be great for display, but it has issues. The carriage does not move to the left when the keys are pressed. Most of the keys work smoothly, but a few of them stick. Cleaning would probably help this issue. The ribbon wheels are with the machine but there is no ribbon on them. Finally, there is a beveled glass panel on the right side but none on the left. I suspect it is missing. Again, cosmetically, it looks great. The only paint loss os on the front bar where a typist's wrist would have rubbed against it. This beast weighs in at just over 31 pounds, so local pick up in eastern Pa. is preferred. (SHD)
