This impressive balluster shaped vessel has been hand raised from beaten sheet copper. The surface is embossed with a series of raised and fluted panels, each embellished with wonderfully intricate, deeply chiseled floral scroll-work. The recesses of the intricate design have been spectacularly finished in striking blue, turquoise, red and green polychrome enamels which looks exquisite set against the opulent gilt copper body. Engraved decoration to the exposed areas of the gilt copper further embellishes the masterfully worked design. An exquisite work of art which beautifully displays the masterful skills of the Kashmiri craftsman. SIZE: This impressive piece stands approx 195mms tall and measures 125mms in diameter. WEIGHT: This piece weighs 665 grams. CONDITION: This stunning example is presented in excellent antique condition with no dents, cracks, repairs or losses to the enamel.
