Description: Antique Aesthetic Movement triple silverplate tea caddy by James W. Tufts of Boston, with removable lidded box form caddy nested in a footed bamboo style frame. Caddy has decorative lid with raised bamboo handle, the body with four separate carved panels with decorative scrollwork and geometries, birds and fowl, flowers and reeds. Measures 5.25" high from base to handle and the caddy itself is 3" by 3" by 3". In excellent condition save for slight bend to one leg, otherwise intact with original patina, no dings or stains. Gorgeous and rare piece, and properly cleaned it will absolutely sing. Derives from an estate in the Adirondacks of Northern New York.Buyer to pay for item plus shipping.
