Description: Delightful late 9th century toile print. These charming prints are becoming so hard to find! This one has been picked from an old quilt, please note original quilting lines are visible. Wonderful images of French country life. Lovely lightly aged ground with a slight yellow tea tinge. Images in raspberry reds, pinks, gold blue and yellow. Lightly textured mid wight woven look cotton. Wonderful for period rustic gently timeworn projects. Condition: overall good. As noted above the lines originally applied for quilting are still viable. I have washed and do not think they will come out. For me this adds to the charm, part of its history but not for everyone! A few spots one notable see last photo. One small hole. A bit of wool and threads from quilting but I did try to pick off most! Please see photos and use zoom. Carefully washed and ready to use. One original overprinted selvedge edges intact on left side other three raw. Approximate measurements 32.5” x 101" I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should be expected. The timeworn look and signs of their unique history is part of what makes them so charming and special! ***Please ask questions before purchasing.*** Thank you for looking!
