Description: This hat is so incredible, even with its damage. One cannot expect such an intricate hat to survive the ravages of time intact. The hat is made of some sort of thicker thread or cording which is woven into this bonnet with lots of open work. There are breaks in some of the open work as you can see in the pictures. At some point in time, it was relined in a pale blue silky satin with matching colored exterior ribbon. It is shown on a French Fashion Doll with a head circumference of approx. 6 3/4" around. Just so lovely and rare to find.
