Description: Such an adorable ANTIQUE children's tea set from Japan. The maker's mark on some of the pieces says, "Japan." Most of the pieces don't have anything printed on the back, but they match and are from the same set. There is a creamer, sugar bowl (no lid), plate, tea cup and saucer. This is a rare set -- there is one other similar set on eBay. Pieces are hand painted (looks like an outline transfer with hand-coloring). Although made in Japan, it features a sweet DUTCH scene with windmills and wooden clogs. Fun figures including a dog, houses, churches, etc. The colors are bright -- green edging, teal blue, rust red, pale yellow, gray, and brown. This set is OLD. It feels old. There is no damage to the pieces except the extremely delicate, thin tea cup. There is a crack in the cup bowl or this egg shell thin tea cup.
