It came from a local New England Estate sale and all I did was to use soap and water on it to get the dust off. I didn't try to really clean it as you can see from pictures.The lamp is about 7 1/2" inches tall to top of front reflector. On side the lamp is marked Justrite Made In USA, PAT. MAY 7 . 28,1912, PAT OCT. 28, 1913, PAT. Nov. 23 1915 OTHERS PENDING. It looks to be complete although i don't know much about these so see pics. I'm guessing it would work if you put water and carbide in it and you would need a flint striker wheel and a flint to strike it with. It is made of brass or copper.. This would of hung on a miners helmet so it has a hanging hook and it also has a carrying handle. Thanks for looking and happy bidding. Images sell!
