Description: Offered is an antique copy of the book, Bible History in the Sioux Indian Language by Rev. Jerome Hunt. Book was published by the Indian Mission at Fort Trotten North Dakota in 1897. The Sioux dialect is Dakota. Contains many illustrations. I could not find pricing history and will consider any reasonable offer of this genuinely rare book. Book is complete with 259 pages including index. Some soiling on cover and discoloration on pages but no major internal stains. Cover is separated somewhat from stapled pages which are very secure in a block. Not much evidence of use as it is hard to hold pages open and I did not want to force. No internal writing.
