Description: Very rare 1930’s Electric Clock & Range Timer Being SOLD AS-IS due to age and ORIGINAL fabric cord and 3-prong plug The 3-prong plug was to be plugged into the original range this item was designed for and ran off of the electricity of the range. Very unique piece. Missing 2 knobs on the back. Professional restoration could probably bring this beauty back to life. And if not, it’s quite a conversation piece to show off. The timer dials still turn and make the ‘klunk’ sound that is original to this timer once it passes its 12 hour mark. “Without a doubt the most striking range timer ever made, the "Gothic Moderne" TM-8 was designed by Raymond E. Patten and manufactured by GE for Hotpoint in the early 1930s. Patented Mar. 10, 1931. Chrome with a black Bakelite base, Telechron movement. There are small dials indicating "On/Off" times in the lower corners.”
