Description: Antique 1909 Pocket Watch 14k Longines Swiss H. J. Howe Jewelers Syracuse NY. The case material is unmarked has been tested to be at least 14k. The approximate size is 2" x 1" x 0.25". The watch diameter is 32mm and it weighs 27 grams. This watch has an engraved monogram on the back of watch. The inside back cover is marked "7418551 Warrantied to wear forever". The inside back of the watch itself is marked "Fifteen (15) Jewels Three (3) Adjustments 2269312 H. J. Howe Syracuse NY". Based on the serial number the watch was made in 1909. Condition is very nice but not working. The hands can be set with the crown but the watch does not run. There are thin spots and a small hole in the engraving on the back of the case. The watch has several very fine scratches. Please see photos for details. H. J. Howe was a jewelry store in Syracuse NY that was in business from 1860 to 1982. The Howe store was kept open at a second location until January 15, 1990, when it finally closed. All questions are welcome.Please see my other auctions. I combine shipping.
