Description: Antique 1896-1914 Black Forest Building Bricks Wooden Construction Blocks Chalet. This item is in “used” condition. Please see photos for additional details as they are an important part of the item description. This is a fabulous building block set in very good condition. There was one roof piece that was found broken. The rest of the pieces have very little wear. The wooden box /case is not in great condition. The lid is split and taped together. The box could use some delicate repairs. The picture on the front is stained. It is made in Germany and it is the building blocks for the chalet that is pictured. Quite an interesting antique set. It was meant to be an educational set but not much information was found on the manufacturer. From what we did find is that it dates in the 1886-1914 range & is not a Richter set as they marked their sets very prominently.
